Register Drucker Global Youth Leadership Summer Camp in July & August

Griggs China and the Drucker School of Management have jointly designed and launched the “2025 Drucker Global Youth Leadership Program Summer Camp”, which is offered to Griggs high school students, as well as middle school and high school students who are interested in our camp. We provide 2-week and 3-week summer camps to students. The 3-week camp includes an extra week of unviersity visits. 



Dates



3-week:

July 7 - 27, 2025


2-week:

First Term: July 7-20, 2025

Second Term: July 21-August 3, 2025

Third Term: August 4-17, 2025


We already have a group of students set to attend the 3-week Drucker Camp, departing from Shanghai to the United States.


We welcome more students to join our summer camps.


Peter·Drucker


The inventor of modern management, Peter Drucker’s writings have influenced generations of scholars and entrepreneurs in their quest for innovation and best management practices. Business management programs of all kinds have been heavily influenced by Peter Drucker's ideas.



Program Highlights

Learn leadership skills through the Drucker Management Philosophy and earn 0.5 high school credit.


Gain the opportunity to enhance English language skills.

Enjoy Visits to Local Universities


The 3-week camp includes visits to Stanford University, Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, plus more.


The 2-week camp includes visits to Pomona College, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, Pitzer College, and Scripps College.


Tour iconic sites in and around LA and its surrounding area including the Hollywood Hills. Hollywood Walk of Fame, Disneyland, and Santa Monica Beach.

Interact with local and international students.


Course Overview

The course framework centers on Drucker’s management philosophy, integrating cutting-edge technology and practical applications to cultivate youth with global vision, practical skills, and leadership potential. The program emphasizes theory-practice integration through modular teaching and diverse delivery methods.

Teaching Content


Drucker Management Philosophy: Introduces Peter Drucker’s principles on self-management, leadership, and social responsibility. Students apply practical tools to address personal, academic, and community challenges while building leadership skills for future opportunities.


The Practice of Leadership: Develops leadership through self-awareness, reflection, and practice-based activities, equipping students with skills to grow, manage themselves, and lead effectively.


The Future Imagined: Focuses on innovation and trend analysis. Students explore emerging possibilities through hands-on workshops and team projects, enhancing creativity, critical thinking, and leadership in a changing world.


Emerging Technologies: Explores advancements like quantum computing, generative AI, and prototyping. Students analyze ethical implications and societal impacts, building skills for innovation and responsible decision-making.


Camp Site Introduction



Camp is scheduled at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, Southern California, USA. The University is a private, elite-level university specializing in graduate and above level programs. The University is one of the seven schools that are members of The Claremont Colleges, a consortium of the top liberal arts colleges in the western United States. 


The Claremont Colleges includes five undergraduate liberal arts colleges and two graduate institutions: Pomona College ( #5 in Liberal Arts Collges Rankings),  Claremont McKenna College (#8), Harvey Mudd College (#12), Pitzer College (#36), Scripps College (#44), Claremont Graduate University and Keck Graduate Institute. Located on contiguous campuses in the Southern California city of Claremont, each institution has its own student body, faculty, governance, curricular emphasis, culture, and mission. Intercollegiate cooperation provides university-scale services and facilities. With over 8,000 students and 3,200 faculty and staff, located on more than 540 acres of land, The Claremont Colleges benefit from the diverse missions, character and culture, as well as the integration of academic and extracurricular programs that make up this truly unique consortium.

Students will be housed at Claremont Graduate University for classes as well as housing, and activities will also be scheduled at the top liberal arts colleges of Claremont Colleges.
