G12 Top Up Program

The Griggs Top Up Program is a U.S. high school diploma program that allows students to achieve a U.S. high school diploma in grade 12. Students complete 5 GIA credits, which complement the national curriculum in order to receive the diploma. The student’s previous and current coursework is compared to the Griggs' requirements in order to assess what Griggs courses need to be completed to receive the Griggs (U.S.) high school diploma in addition to the one from the registered school that the student is attending. Schools choose this type of Top Up Program to help prepare students for attending an American or other international university including in Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Below is a list of subjects recommended to be taken in grade 12. The exact number, sequence and subjects may differ from those suggested below depending on the units (courses) which a student has received from previous study.

Schools will be fully supported to deliver the Griggs courses and values-based curriculum. Complete syllabus are available, as well as learning resources, samples of Course Descriptions, Lesson Plans, and Exams. Professional educators are on hand to offer constant advice and support, as well as evaluations each semester to guide schools to ensure courses are taught using the most up-to-date and effective teaching methods.
