He loves his school like his home and has been devoting himself to its development. Since three years ago, he has integrated his own growth with the development of the school and has been contributing to community with all his abilities and efforts.
He always excels in academic performance. His extraordinary hard work and strict self-discipline can not only move himself but also win the recognition of others, making him the outstanding model of the community.
He has the courage to make new breakthroughs and take big responsibilities. With a strong sense of responsibility, he takes the leed in organizing and participating in various activities again and again, his footprints covering not only the campus but also the desert, the local nieghborhood community, and even the other side of the ocean.
While learning and growing himself, he is also helping the school grow.
He is Hanxiao Cai, winner of this year's "Distinguished Founders Award".
SHBS attaches great importance not only to the students' academic progress, but also to the development of their comeprehensive skills and the cultivation of their sense of responsibility. The reknowned 17-year-old group purchase leader Hanxiao Cai, who helped his compound purchase supplies during the lockdown in Shanghai, is not a rare case. His classmates had also demonstrated similar commitment and courage. During the epidemic, Sean Xu and his friends launched the Guardian Program and helped more than 3,000 people get the medicines they need during the lockdown. Charlotte Li took the lead in launching an online charity fair to transform the creative talents of her friends into commodities, to raise money for the "Pearl Retrieval" program, and to help poor children in mountainous areas realize their educational dreams...
SHBS is committed to cultivating "Chinese citizens who can integrate into and illuminate the world", and keeps practicing the philosophy that "education is to make people better". All these have been put into practice step by step, and are demonstrated in the vision and sense of responsibility of SHBS students. We will keep learning and improving ourselves and contributing our share to the development of the education in China.
