First of all, Ms. Zeng pointed out that "leadership" is the ability to make the best use of human resources and objective conditions within one's jurisdiction to improve the work efficiency of a team at minimal cost. Its essence is influence, which is divided into power influence and non-power influence. Then, she told students what facts are and how to build leadership through facts. Facts are not judgments, but established objective situations. It is only through one fact after another that one can transform ideology into an established objective factual situation and that a leader's leadership can truly be established. Next, Ms. Zeng elaborated on how to build leadership through facts based on the case of Zhuge Liang in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms".

In the chapter "Three Visits to Zhuge Liang's Cottage", Zhuge Liang unfolded a magnificent blueprint for Liu Bei, decendent of the royal Western Han Dynasty - "three parts of the country". Zhuge Liang also spent his life practicing his "Longzhong Prose" to repay Liu Bei's kindness. The battle of the Red Cliff, the battle of the West River, the capture of Meng Huo, and the six trips to Qishan, until his death in the Wuzhang Yuan. In the novel, he secured his position as "Prime Minister and Military Advisor" by fighting one victorious battle after another, so his loyalty and unswerving moral character also convinced the entire Shu nation. Meanwhile, Chinese people has since considered Zhuge Liang in the novel as the embodiment of "a virtuous official and a famous prime minister". 

Through the lecture given by Ms. Zeng, we could not only learn more about the details of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and deepen our understanding of the character of Zhuge Liang, but also understand the significance of building leadership through facts. In order to make their work fruitful, student leaders need to build their leadership through their own hard work, and by completing one task after another, so that they can win the recognition and support from all teachers and students, which, I think, is the most valuable insight I have learned from this session.
