On behalf of the graduates, Hina Liang recalled her growth in SHBS and expressed her aspirations for the future. “From the shyness when entering the dorm for the first time to the tacit cooperation in group work; from the nervousness when stepping on stage for the first time to the excitement of showing talent and the pride of winning glory; from flying to Dunhuang, India, Italy, and the United States to broaden the breadth of life, to listening to the experience of elites in various industries to explore the depth of life... the years in SHBS flew by so quickly, and all these stories had become a splendid chapter in our life.” Hina is full of confidence and aspirations for the future. She saw a brand new book opened, waiting for all the graduates to write even more splendid new chapters and create new glories.

Hello everyone! It is a great honor to stand here today as the representative of the graduates. Firstly, please allow me to thank all the teachers on behalf of all the graduates for their dedicated guidance and company over the years.

Words cannot express my excitement and sadness at this moment. What I am excited about is the fact that I am about to enter my dream school, for which I put in indescribable efforts for many years. What I am sad about is that now I have to say goodbye to the school that has nurtured me, to my teachers who have cared for me, and to my classmates who have been through all ups and downs with me. At the same time, I am also a little nervous. How can I demonstrate the charm of Chinese culture and the outstanding spirit of Chinese girls in a foreign country, and how can I surpass the achievements I have achieved?

Looking back on my high school life in ZWA, all the joys and sorrows are still engraved in my mind. I still clearly remember the first day I stepped into this campus full of hope and dream. Time is flying and now I am standing here as a graduate to conjure up those unforgettable moments---your patient and inspiring guidance, your dedicated hard work, our escape room meetup and singing performance on stage. At this graduation ceremony, I would like to say thank you, my respected principals and teachers. Thank you for forgiving our ignorance and misbehavior. Thank you for tolerating and understanding us so much as that we can learn how to seek knowledge, how to be a decent person and how to act responsibly. All these bountiful harvests are our lifelong treasures. I would also like to say thank you to all the parents. It is because of your constant support and love that we can always keep our chins up throughout our life journey. 

Please forgive our reckless and willful behaviour. Please rest assured that we will always work hard, keep going and prove that we can! Let’s say thank you to each other, and forget about all the unpleasant moments. Let’s freeze this moment with a sincere smile and a simple mindset. 

Here I would also like to give my humble suggestions. First, please work hard. There are only two types of seasons in our life. If you work hard, then you can enjoy your peak season. If not, the off season is doomed to come. Second, embrace hardship and practice more. Start small and end big.  

In the future, I hope all of us will be brave and positive, be yourself and pursue your dream. Cherish everything, either small or big, and spend some time with your family and friends. When you are lonely, there is always someone who holds out his hand to you. When you come home late, there is always a light in the darkness for you. Even when you are stuck in a maze, don’t panic and keep on moving forward. Finally romantic serendipity will fall on you. Always believe that you deserve all the beautiful things in this world and stay chill on this path to the future.

Graduate Representative from Kunshan Liren Foreign Language School

As Aidan is in India, he reviewed everything from kindergarten to high school graduation in the form of video clips. In the past 15 years, he has grown from ignorance to maturity thanks to Liren, teachers and parents who nourished his growth. He also said that on the road in the future, he hopes to stick to his dream undertake more responsibilities, and win glory for his alma mater.
