I have been learning within exam-oriented education since childhood. My junior high school is the best one in my city. When I entered into the school, my family members were very happy and thought that I could do well with the best education resources. However, in the exam-oriented environment, I gradually realized that the current education may not be suitable for me. 

I love art music very much. Music has been a part of my life since I was a child. But after entering junior high school, I have to do exercise every day, which is endless. As a result, there was little time for enjoying music and independent thinking. My family members also found that I was troubled. Luckily, they supported me to change things. They believed that what is appropriate is the best and wanted me to achieve all-round development , so they decided to replace the "track" for me and set sights on international education.

It took me so much time and energy to replace the track. It is known that international school employs English teaching and learning. In order to keep up with the pace of international school learning, I spent half a year improving my English language ability. I focused on grammar learning, oral practice, vocabulary accumulation and listening practice. English learning almost became my whole life before I officially entered the international school. It was difficult at the beginning, but I was determined to stick to improving my English language ability. At the same time, I rediscovered love of art music. 

The seed of music was already planted when I was five years old. During my 10-year piano career, I have won awards and certificates in various competitions. Piano brings me great pleasure and pride. Immersing myself in music , I enjoyed collision of thinking and music, and I drew inspiration. Which supported me to choose international school.

My encounter with ZWA is a fate ! Customized courses and personalized school activities in ZWA gave me abundant options and great possibility, my teachers helped me to fully develop my characters and interests as well. 

Less than two months after I got here, I became a piano performer in the campus arts performance, which made me feel very flattered. I have to say that ZWA gives me a stage to show myself. I thought it would take a long time for me to adapt to the new life in ZWA before I got here. Surprisingly, I found that senior students here took good care of freshmen and lend a helping hand in my study and life. In a short period of time, I seamlessly integrated into the life of ZWA.

Although I don't have a specific goal for university yet, I always dreamed that I was admitted to Berklee College of Music. The university entrance counsellor gave me a lot of suggestions on study and selecting a university. What’s more, the teacher set quarterly goals for me. I’m about to enter into Grade10, to achieve this plan, I will consolidate my subject foundation and English ability first. I plan to take my first TOEFL test, sprinting for 90 scores. I also plan to take two AP courses if I can spare.
